I don't actually have much to say about this film, but there was the running commentary in my head, which describes the film accurately and went something like this:

Edward, why the hell did you shove Bella into the shelf of breakable stuff? You're such a crap boyfriend; ew, gross, she sucks at emotional breakdown; mmmm, shirtless guys; is it just me or are the sparkle effects more annoying than they were last film?; ahahaha that action film dialogue; Edward put a shirt on, nobody wants to see your naked chest; hahahaha elevator scene; ooh, that's the dude from Sanctuary, isn't he a vampire or something in that, too?; mmmm, Cameron Bright; lol @ "It'd be nice to not want to eat you all the time"; ...dude, that "cliffhanger" is so not impressive.

Wall of text aside, there's another thing I'd like to address here. Everyone complains about the sparkling. I mean, okay, even I complain about the sparkling, but wouldn't you complain about ridiculous ~*~beams of light~*~ and shimmery sound effects? That's not my main complaint with it, though. No, my main complaint is how everyone in-universe takes it so seriously.

I mean, "This is the skin of A KILLER!!!1!" *sparkle sparkle sparkle* Yeah, no. I'm sorry, but I can't take that seriously.

It would have made much more sense if that entire scene had gone more like this:

"Bella, you know I'm a vampire and that I can't kiss you without wanting to eat your face off, but there's more you need to know."
"Tell me. I want to know everything about you."
"It's something I need to show you. Come with me."
*insert hike through woods to meadow here*
"Bella, watch."
"..."
"..."
"..."
"...what? Bella, what's wrong?"
"You... sparkle."
"...yes."
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
"Seriously?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I... I don't know! It's a vampire thing. It happens to all of us in sunlight."
"Really."
"Yes, really. It's better than bursting into flame."
"It is better than that."
"..."
"Uh, could you step back out of the sunlight? You're hurting my eyes."
"Oh! Oh, right, sorry."

One a day

I've decided to try doing one drawing every day (or every day I'm at school, at least). At the end of the week (er... well, for this week I actually did it today .///.; ) I'll scan them all and post them. I'll also take requests, if anyone wants to request anything! (Just... don't ask me to draw your dead cousin for a tattoo you plan on getting.)

Anyway, let's see how long I can actually keep this up for. <3!

Uh... also, this doubles as a post to try out a new journal skin. .///.;

Homework. Possibly playing Metroid.

Though it's really more like, "I never remember to update except for when I have a ton of homework and therefore no time to update!" (That ton wouldn't be a ton, except that I wait till the last couple of days before it's due to do a week's worth of work.)

Uh, anyway, summer sketchdump tomorrow! Or tonight, if I finish my homework before, like... ten-thirty or something equally ridiculous. I've got like seven or eight pages of sketches and stuff from about July till today to scan in and touch up and post so that I can prove that I've actually been drawing and not just wasting away my entire summer. And anyway, who doesn't like sketchdumps! :'D

Is anybody taking AP classes? If so, which ones? jfk-fen, you don't really need to answer, you guys are in all my AP classes anyway.
